Parallel

Parallel lines. They can never meet. Or do they?

Imagine this; A long stretch of highway. One side of the road, its a straight line. And the other side of the road, is another straight line. Sure, they don't meet.



Maybe you're just walking too fast to notice your surroundings. Or maybe you're just walking down the road, without any destination in sight. You feel lonely. You forget what you're here for. Yes, we're only humans. And we forget.

Perhaps its time you stopped for a while. Remember Allah. And look around you. Open up your heart, open up your mind. See things in a different perspective. Be optimistic. Don't be sad, Allah is with you.

The journey in life is never an easy one. Life is heaven for the non-believers, prison for those with iman. When you walk down the road, there'll be rain. It'll be cold out there. You'll be shivering. But it wont just rain and rain and rain. There will be shine. Allah promises that every hardship will be accompanied by relief. Allah promises that every hardship will be accompanied by relief.

If you think you're suffering, wait till you walk further down the road. You might see other people living by the roadside, in cardboard boxes. Kids with bloated tummies full of air, because they've got no food. And you? Are you even syukur to Allah for what you have now?

Whatever you want, may not always be good for you. Whatever that's good for you, may not always be what you want. Allah knows, and you know not. Whatever you pray for, He will give. But it could be now, or later. Or He'll replace it with something else better for you. Or He would only give it in the hereafter, if He pleases. That's His promise. Don't stop asking from Allah.

There's always a hikmah behind everything that happens. Most of the times, its not visible to the naked eye. It takes more that just the eyes to see them. When something happens, it might be that your emotions overshadow your vision. You might not realise the hikmah behind something right away. Remember Allah, and in that calm state of mind, perhaps one day you'll realise.

Never ever forget, always remember Allah. Always.

Now, look at that stretch of highway.

And you said parallel lines don't meet.

With Allah, anything is possible untill Allah says so!
